Reiki Healing Energy
Reiki Is a Japanese concept translated as “Universal Life Energy.” The phrase was coined by Mikao Usui to describe the energy that he had contacted through years of self-preparation and dedication. Usui Shiki Ryoho Is a specific form of practice that allows the student to have contact with the energy of Reiki simply by laying on of hands in self treatment and treatment of others. The system taught by masters of Usui Shiki Ryoho emphasizes the value of self-treatment as the core of the practice, encourages the treatment of family and friends, acknowledges that doing Reiki is a life-long practice through which the depth of the gifts of healing and growth are manifested.

Phyllis Lei Furumoto
Phyllis Lei Furumoto lived with, and has practiced Reiki most of her life. Her grandmother, Hawayo Takata, initiated her into Reiki as a child.
